Randy C. Shaw was born on September, 08 1958 in Asheville, NC to Mrs. Bernice King Shaw and Mr. John C. Shaw. He attended Stephens Lee High School and spent many years working in construction and cooking for the community. Randy was known for his warm personality and caring nature – he loved those around him, and they loved him in return.

On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Randy departed this life. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Bernice King Shaw; his father, John C Shaw; his son, Anthony “TC” Carter; grandson, LaMichael Carter; his brothers, Otis King and Charles King; and his sister Pamela Shaw.

Randy’s memory will be cherished by his longtime partner, Lois “Sissy” Lance; his stepmother, Margaret Shaw; his son, Randy Carter Jr.; his sisters, Betty King, Delores Shaw, Ketcha Shaw; his brothers, Matt Shaw and Anthony Nesbitt; along with his beloved granddaughters, Kamahria Carter and Kariah Carter; his great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Randy’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday, March 29, 2025 in the chapel of Western Carolina Mortuary Service with public visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
