Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”.

Faith Lee Jones, 42, passed away January 30, 2025, due to complications from pneumonia. Born July 1,1982, she was a native and resident of Asheville. Faith lived up to her name with a determination to live a fulfilling life despite her lifelong battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Although she could not physically walk, she moved through life with a spunk and fortitude which were her best- known traits. She obtained a college degree, managed her own care and household, and was a proud pet parent to her beloved Miss Kitty. She loved music and singing, and enjoyed karaoke and cooking.

Faith lived many more years than predicted, and her sweet nature will be greatly missed. May she fly high!

She is survived by her mother, Debra Jones; sister, Heather Jones; treasured nieces, Isis and Laila; nephews Jaziah and Tiras, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Max Porche’ and Doris Porche’-Fletcher; father, James Daniel Jones (Danny); and nephew, Darius Durham.
