Delores Cox Kugler Obituary

Delores Louise Cox Kugler passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was born on April 20, 1939 in Ponchatoula, LA to the late John Robert Cox and Lillie Gay Shepherd. 

Delores graduated from Ponchatoula High School where she was a wavette on the dance team. She met her husband, Emile, almost 66 years ago on a blind date. He states that she was the best woman ever. Delores worked as a meat processor at Hydes Slaughter House. She loved to gardening with her husband, working on the farm, crocheting, quilting and cooking for her family.  She also enjoyed taking vacations from Louisiana to the mountains. The most important thing to Delores was her family whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Betty Sutton; grandsons, Mark Kugler, Phillip Kugler, Tyler Bauers; numerous other brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is husband, Emile Joseph Kugler; sons, Emile Joseph Kugler, Jr. (Anita Dee), Mark Lane Kugler (Rhonda), Adam Patrick Kugler; daughters, Kim Marie Bauers, Tangi Luoise Christenson (Erik), Tippi Ann Smith (Carvin); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
