Daisy Cox Obituary

Daisy Mae Cox began her beautiful journey of life on December 3, 1953, in Fountain Inn, SC. She was the middle of three children born to the late Toy and Louise Cox Martin.

Daisy Mae was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and providing for her family. She spread love to everyone she came across. Daisy was sweet and full of life and would give her last to anyone in need. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, indulging, and dancing the night away. Daisy was always the life of the party, even if it was just her and Lewis. Outside of her enjoying her family time, she loved her bed the most where she watched her T.V. shows and drank her orange soda. She loved and cherished her husband, children, grands, great-grands, and siblings unconditionally.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by mothers, Louise Cox and Verna McGowan; aunt, Wilma Martin; sister, Madine Wright.

Left to cherish her memory is brother, William Cox (Libby); sister, Nancy Stover; husband, Lewis Scott; children, Virginia Cox, Tameeka Cox (Kevin), David Cox (Keakea), Alice Gibbs (Third), Renee Cox (Irvin); 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and one special person, her best friend/sister, Janice Dobbs who loved her unconditionally.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the chapel of Western Carolina Mortuary Service.
