Sandra Kemp, 64, of Asheville, NC was born to Joseph Macfagen Gray & Cora Louise Forney Gray on December 19,1954, in Waynesville NC.

Sandra was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, dance and laugh. She was pleasant and had a caring attitude and a generous spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Marion and Eugene Gray; her sister Sarah Gray; and her nephew Ricky Gray.

In the midst of life there is death and on Thursday, June 20, 2019, the heavenly father called her home. She is survived by her husband Charles Kemp; daughter Sandra Forney; grandson Alijah; stepson Charles Kemp Jr and wife Cindy; sister Edith Caldwell & husband Alfred Caldwell;  brother, Joseph Gray Jr. and wife Mary Gray of Philadelphia, PA; her brother Charles Gray and wife Cathy Gray; and a sister in law, Lillie Belle Simmons, Asheville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Mt Olive Baptist Church, 28 Mt Olive Road, Waynesville, NC. Rev. Elder Roderick Sanders will be officiating
