Michael L. Johnson went to be with our Lord on October 24, 2020. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and loved going to church on Sunday's to enjoy hearing the word and having fellowship with his church family.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, laugh, and unconditional love for others. He was very adventurous and loved to travel.

Proceeded in death were his mother, Edna Wingate Johnson; father, William Johnson; grandson, Tracy Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 26 yrs, Sherry Johnson (Arden); sister, Vivian Blue of Fairview; sons, Mickey Johnson (Judy) of Maiden, Jeff Johnson (Alicia) of Maiden, Brian Conner (Marshall) of Arden; daughters, Mickie Begley (Brian) of Leicester and Kim Lee (Tracy) of Leicester; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Taylor, Katheryn, Blaise, Jeffrey Jr. Tate, and Emory; great grandbaby on the way; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Victory Baptist Church (Olivette Rd). Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm with a service following.

We would like to thank all of our family and friends that have shown their love and support and a big thank you to the nurses, CNA's, Chaplin's, social workers and cleaning staff at Care Partners Hospice Center. Your love and compassion to Michael and our family will never be forgotten.
