Sonja (Chambers) Ducker

Sonja Chambers Ducker went to be with her Lord on Friday November 24, 2017.  She is in Heaven now, filled with joy and happiness in the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ.  She was the “wonderful darling” to her husband Roger who is eagerly looking forward to spending eternity with her in Heaven.  Her son Barry was the gift from God that she loved so dearly, was so proud of, and who she loved to kid with.  She loved and was proud of her daughter-in-law Teresa, who was not only a gift from God to Barry but to her as well.  Sonja had many in her life that she loved and who loved her - at her church Beverly Hills Baptist, at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint Clinic where she worked for many years, her brother Doyle Chambers, wife Arvella and their children and grandchildren from Brevard, her sister Fara Lee Carpenter and her family in Florida, her dearly loved cousin Doris Rabun who was like a sister, extended family members, neighbors and many others.  She loved and was loved by many and she will be dearly missed.  A celebration of her life will be held in the sanctuary of Beverly Hills Baptist Church on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM with time for refreshments, meeting and greeting afterwards.   Sonja’s ashes will be scattered at her home place in Franklin according to her wishes.
